This is a courtesy translation. In the event of any discrepancy, the German version (Datenschutzerklärung) prevails.

1. Controller
The controller responsible for the processing of personal data on this website is the Federal Association of German Pewterers e. V., represented by the association office (Stephan Dörr, Board member). Full contact details are available in the Imprint .
Email: info@zinnmeister.de
2. Hosting: Cloudflare Pages
This website is hosted via Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When pages are loaded, your browser transmits technical connection data to Cloudflare servers — including your IP address, browser type, requested URL and timestamp. This processing is technically necessary to provide the website and is carried out on the legal basis of Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation).
Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Further information is available in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy .
3. Cloudflare Web Analytics
This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics — a privacy-friendly analytics method that operates without cookies and without long-term storage of IP addresses. No personal profiles are created and no data is shared with advertising services. Only aggregated page-view metrics are measured (e.g. page views, referrers, device category) to improve the website.
Processing is carried out on the legal basis of Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in improving the website). Because no cookies are set and no persistent device identifiers are transmitted, no consent banner is required. Further information: Cloudflare Web Analytics .
4. Fonts (self-hosted)
This website uses exclusively self-hosted typefaces (Fraunces, Hanken Grotesk). The font files are served directly from our Cloudflare Pages servers. No requests are made to Google Fonts or other external font providers; your IP address is not transmitted to third parties in this context.
5. OpenStreetMap
The members overview and the detail pages of our members can display an interactive map. The map does not load automatically: only when you actively click "Load map" are the map tiles loaded directly from the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF). At that point your IP address is transmitted to OSMF servers — this is technically necessary so that your browser can receive the map data. As long as you do not click, no transmission to the OSMF takes place. We have no influence over the subsequent data processing by the OSMF.
The legal basis for loading the map is your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR), which you give by clicking "Load map". Consent is voluntary; without it the map is not loaded. Information on data processing by the OSMF is available in their Privacy Policy .
6. Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. An encrypted connection is recognisable by the browser address bar changing from "http://" to "https://".
7. Contacting Us
If you contact us by email, telephone or post, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, content of your enquiry) solely to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual or membership-related communication) or Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). The data is deleted once it is no longer required for this purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
8. Publication of Member Data
In the member directory we publish information about our member workshops (including company/business name, location, owner name where applicable, contact details and image material). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in presenting the association and its members) or the members' consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR). Members may object to publication at any time via the contact details given in the Imprint.
9. Your Rights
With respect to the personal data concerning you, you have the following rights in relation to us:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding the processing of your personal data by us. The supervisory authority responsible for us is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
For access and deletion requests, please contact the association office listed in the Imprint .
